Plant Care
  • Light :

Prefers morning sun and afternoon shade, or bright filtered light. Avoid harsh, full-day sun which may fade blooms.

  • Watering :

Keep soil consistently moist, especially during warmer months. Water deeply rather than frequently for containers and the garden.

  • Soil:

Plant in rich, free-draining soil with plenty of organic matter.  Hydrangeas thrive in moisture-retentive but well-aerated soil that allows excess water to move away from the roots. Apply mulch twice a year around the base to conserve moisture, enrich the soil, and always remove excess mulch away from the base of your plant to prevent collar-rot.

  • Feeding

Feed your Hydrangea ‘ Raspberry Crush’ with a balanced slow-release fertiliser in early spring, then again in mis-summer to support strong growth and vibrant blooms. In containers, supplement with a slow-release fertiliser like Novatec every 3-months during the growing season for best colour and flower performance .

  • Pruning

Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a tidy, compact shape. Remove spent flower heads and trim back any weak or crossing stems. Avoid heavy winter pruning, as this variety blooms on old wood, and cutting too much will reduce the following season’s flowers.
